Damn bornbytheriver (In a little Tent), I dig the shots!!I am good buds with Swamp and Marina from the 9 bullets message board. They always get in with the dudes from the band and I love seeing all the shots. Those guys are just too cool! Thanks!

The Drive by Truckers are the most underrated band on the list! They have been noted by several magazines as one of the hardest working bands on the road today!! I am just overwhelmed with the whole line-up, but to have them on the list is just icing on the cake. BTW, they have been touring with Booker T of Booker T and the MG'S, but now they are Booker T and the DBT'S.Really cool group hope you all enjoy Wanee and be grateful for all the great music and peace and happiness.Right on!!

OH! THAT Booker T, thanks for spelling it out for us, as apparently you think we are all a bunch of nobz...

DBT is pretty good, i give you that.... But aren't they anti War? And didn't SunTzu write a book about being good at war.... called, the Art of War.

Man, your symbolism is really twisted...

And i don't recall Jason Isbell has a song called Northern Alabama Boy.... So not sure what you are talking about there....

I understand that... not sure what your point is?

I figured he was talking about DBT as a whole, without jason, with jason, and without jason again.

I like Jason and the post Jason stuff as well. I am really crazy about the pre-Jason stuff too. Ain't that right beautiful wifeeee!!!I especially like the Northern Alabama Boy song.

I was also pointing out that when i looked at all of Jason's songs (with or without DBT) he did not have a song called Northern Alabama Boy, and was not sure what exactly he was talking too.

no negative waves here... But then again, in the oceans, is there such a thing?

Post Re: Drive by truckers
I have been a long time trucker fan since the first cd (before Jason)
Although I love the Jason songs on the 3 cd's he made with
the truckers, I beleive he was destroying what this band once
was. With Jason gone they have gone back to their roots which
is fine with me. Don't get me wrong, I still like Jason and I wanted to see him in gainesville last month but the economy
has got me down which brings me to my next statement.
Me and my crew have been to every waneefest, 5 of us, but
the economy has us down. We knew we couldn't afford to go
this year but when we heard the truckers were going to be there, we thought we would get 1 day tickets..........
but it ain't happening  come on ABB, give us a break.
but back to the topic. After searching through all the Jason
stuff I could, I found this. Not by Jason, but about him
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIITC6hnbPg
also if you go to youtube you can find a lot more trucker vids
that ain't as old as the one posted earlier

As a Wanee Vet of sorts..when DBT was announced I wet myself...or should I say spilled my BEERS! After I heard that Patterson played w/ Mule on their encore while in Minn, MN and then to Warren's Xmas Jam... Wanee was a GIVEN... BRING ON THE ROCK SHOW(s) 8-)
