Post Electric campfire jams
I hope some of the folks with LiveNation and SOSMP read these forums and can maybe answer some questions.

I have hosted the electric campfire jam on River Road behind the Peach Stage for the last four years. I've noticed that the park security folks have come by and had us pull the plug earlier and earlier each year. The first year we did it, we went until 8AM the next morning before folks finally gave out from exhaustion. The last couple of years we've limited our campfire jams to Thursday night only, because of the proximity to the Peach Stage, and out of respect for the scheduled performers. I mean, after all, I did come to the WaneeFest to hear THEM! But we always have so many fine musicians show up for the campfire jam, it has turned into our little "festival within a festival." If we move the jam to another area, away from the cabins, can we have some assurance we'll be able to play for a while, to at least make it worth our while to haul our gear down?

This year's line up is STELLAR! Looking forward to it, whether we have our campfire jam or not.

I think we are going to be electric this year... I am going to bring a generator. We will be out in the bird sanctuary though.

If you do move your location this year, please post that information. I want my campsite to remain close to the jam.

Bird Sanctuary is usually where the Drum Circle is at...I always camp out there so we can hear them when were drifting off to sleep.

Thanks Dis. It's my Berry Oakley Tractor replica. It's got the tone. Now, if only I could play like Oakley!
