VeeFinger, it is extremely trebly if I have the Dark Star rolled completely out. Like I said, listen to At Fillmore East and it captures B.O.'s tone almost perfectly. It's very middy, but that's what helps it cut through the mix so well.

I have a Foundation that I absolutely adore. But I am thinking about a G - Bass and get it all darkstared out. It is crazzy to see two j pups that close.

Post Re: Electric campfire jams
the jams are great but i think that those who have spent so much time planning them need to give themselves a break this year! (hint, hint).

There is NOTHING like looking around at the Jam and seeing so many people i love and respect playing, and being played for. :) but i want EVERYONE to have a great time and not burden themselves.

So , in short - PLAY ALL NIGHT!!!!!

Post Re: Electric campfire jams
Just wanna get down to it. What does it take to participate in a jam? Cannot bring any other gear than a guitar from Sweden. No amps allowed in the cabin... So if that mean I have no use of my Strat it will be the acoustic. Even if I have a Barcus Barry mounted and a Zoom Accoustic Effect ped that even so needs an amp to get out. Otherwise I guess I'll have to feel comfortable with an ordinary analog non-amplified guitar. Not that bad...

Anyway, what do you expect from a fellow that would be happy to participate in some way?
