Back on River Road, Lou. Helen's Hilton is great. I love me some Hilton hospitality. I got my new camper and am going to give RR another try. We'll see what happens with the camp jam. I doubt anything can top what we did in 2008. One thing I feel sure about. The powers that be at SOSMP don't like electric camp jams anymore. It was fun while it lasted.

That little Roland Cube amp bluedad had last year sounded great for what it was. Here's Jr. Mack playing through it:

Man, that's classic! I was sitting right there next to him and was dumb struck by two things....he had just come off the stage after sitting in with the ABB and he was sitting at our campfire playing sweet blues! Junior is great...a gentleman and a hell of a player.

I really wish I had caught his version of Rainy Night in Georgia for Helen. She loves that song. But I was busy running for the recorder and getting it going. Our girls are about to go on the blues cruise any day now! Don't you know they are going to have a blast.

How about the year Robert Randolph showed up at your jam?

You're right, but we do have a new camper this year, a 19' Dutchmen Ultra Light. We'll be in site 228 again, where we were in 2008.

Was it Robert or Roosevelt Collier? That was in 2008. Either way, I completely missed him as I was busy being "the man behind the curtain." LOL
