 question about electricity
Like a few other people I've noticed on the Forum, we plan to bring an air mattress to sleep on in our tent. But our air mattresses require electricity to blow up -- is there a place we can plug in for this and carry the mattress back to camp?
thanks greg

 Re: question about electricity
For previous festivals we have blown up our air mattress by plugging into the cig lighter/other outlet in our car. We will do it again this year as most pumps allow.

 Re: question about electricity
I have a car operated pump if you need one. I'm sure a lot of people are bringing them too.

 Re: question about electricity
Great advice and much welcomed offers! I'll find out later today if our mattress has an adapter for the car. I'll be in touch if I need assistance, and of course if there's a way for me to help someone, just ask....
thanks! Greg

 Re: question about electricity
Yea, hookups are where it's at. I'm too old for primitive. Best $100 ever spent. Electric = lights, fan, electric griddle for all that bacon, bug zapper, etc. And water hookup plus one of these http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=7933626 = a private shower. Also money well spent. I can imagine communal showers X 3 days X 10,000 hippies could get pretty nasty, not to mention the lines to use them..
