My first Wanee was last year and I have to say Wanee is THE best music festival I have ever attended. SOSMP is such a cool place for a festival and camping. Last year we arrived on Wed. evening by the time we had our camp set up we were able to see Dumpstafunks great performance, the James Brown set blew me away as I am a big fan of the late great godfather of soul.
I am an optometrist and I love my work and interaction with my patients.
I play guitar and harmonica but not at the same time still working on that.
My favorite bands: too many to name but the ABB's are at the top of the list, Rock, Soul, I'm a big Blues freek or geek, the three Kings, Hound Dog Taylor, Lightnin' Hopkins, Robert Johnson, Chess Records, Chicago West side blues,etc
What brought me here was the Allman Brothers. Did not know about Wanee till a friend worked as a roadie for Hot Tuna 2 years ago.
Music is my release, it's how I decompress at the end of the day and thats what so great about Wanee the music is so damn good the people are so damn friendly and the atmosphere. If you can't relax at Wanee well then you don't know how. So peace love and happiness to everybody. I've been looking forward to this years Wanee before I ever left last years Wanee
