 Suwanee river Q's .. i hear.. swimming in the suwanee river for at least an hour repels mosquitos .. is this true

Re: Suwanee river Q's i like the fact that it is spring fed so its nice and cold, if you stay in for an hour you get out your chilled to the bone and it helps cool you off for a few hours

But the water and tannin may counter perfumes, deodorants, etc. that may attract mosquitos.

Re: Suwanee river Q's I've got a Marine buddy who eats match heads to keep mosquitoes away. One or two and your good for a day. You're eating sulfur though, and I don't know how bad it is for you, but it works like a charm he says. I've never tried it..

I will have to ask him. That is crazy~ Would probably work though. Stay tuned I will have a full report shortly.
