Trust me I mentioned it earlier in the thread but it got lost at the end of the page. Hopefully newbs that plan to camp will see this because you don't want to end up like me with a tick on your "nethers"!  Spray your tent down well and do a tick check before you crash at night. Especially if your camp is deeper in the woods. If you end up with unwanted visitors just remove them using tweazers and a slow steady pull. They'll let go after a little while.

If you have enough meat on your bones to where your thighs rub together when you walk, chaffing can occur, especially when it's hot and you get sweaty. This helps everything stay dry and cuts down on friction.
