A few beers and some practice and you should be able to do it without that thing. I'll never forget teaching my kids on their first canoe camping trip. Later in the trip, the youngest (5) had to pee.. jumped out of our canoe, ran up the bank, and began to pee standing. My husband and I fell over laughing as other canoes did the face and rode by. I guess we weren't very clear on where it was appropriate and how to make sure other families weren't in view.

 Re: Festival Tips and Tricks...
The last time we went to Bonnaroo, we discovered the magic of dry ice. You know how by the last day all that's left in your coolers are a few cubes and a lot of ice water? Well, if you fill a cooler with ice and about two pounds of dry ice, then save that cooler for the last couple of days of the event, you'll still have lots of ice. The dry ice quickly disappears, but not before lowering the temperature in the cooler to –70 degrees F, and it takes a lo-o-o-ong time for ice to warm up to its melting point when it starts off that cold. For maximum effect, fill the cooler with ice first, then put the dry ice on top, not the other way around.

 Re: Festival Tips and Tricks...
at bear creek this year we had a friend bring along the vitamin C EmergenC packs and I can honestly say I will be bringing them to every festival from now on. They work wonders for a hangover and kept my energy levels up. Great way to put a little pep in your step in the mornings
