I figure If I master Solar, when camping, I can slowly convert my house over.
When Camping I just want to keep my 2 car batteries charged. I run my Shower which is a boat bilge pump.
My phone Has it's own solar charger. My lights are Wallmart Solar yard lights.
My Inverter can run just about anything.
I want to build a solar golf cart soon!
I'll post plans on my website!

Re: Festival Tips and Tricks... Spray down the outside of your tent with Off and do a Tick check (if you aren't too polluted to remember) before you enter your tent. Last year was the first year we experienced the fun of ticks and the only people in our group not affected had sprayed the outside of their tent with Off.
We were deeper in the woods than previous years so we suspect that was the reason for our unwelcomed visitors.
Fortunately the ticks there are the lone star ticks which supposedly don't carry lyme disease.
