 Re: The BEER Thread
I love Abita Turbo Dog. I'll have to look for the Mardi Gras stuff. Teedubya posted this: Updating my post, there are 2 microbreweries just off of I-10 in Jax that sell quarts and growlers. Bold City Brewery http://www.boldcitybrewery.com/beer-styles.phpIntuition Ale Works http://www.intuitionaleworks.com/our-beers/I was at a soccer event recently, and my roommate showed up with a gallon growler of the Bold City Brewery stuff. They claimed it was a red, but it was dark as a porter or stout and about the best beer I have ever tasted. Enough to drive to Jacksonville. WOW! Thanks for the reminder.

I bet it was the 1901 Red Ale. It is my favorite bold city brew, dark and tasty. I need to try more Intuition brews but my favs so far there are the I-10 IPA and The Heel (Dark IPA)

 Re: The BEER Thread
OK....I sampled the newest Wanee "Eat A Peach" Wheat that I brewed. This was my first foray into fruit flavored beer and I have to say it's delicious! I decided to add in the peach in honor of ABB. Now I know this won't be everyones taste so I will also be bringing an IPA (real hoppy) and possibly a stout (if it's ready in time). Can't wait to share with you all!!!!
