I'm a new to the scene and can't say I know much about setting up a fest schedule, but shouldnt a band like UM be playing after 7? I just had to change my arrangments and now am heading up thursday (not complaining about that). Does anyone else feel that a day time Umphrey's show feels weird? When I saw them at Langerado it was a much later show and allowed for much face melting.

The problem is that the only real sets after dark are the ABB both nights and the 1 late night set each night. I was really hoping UM was switching with the Wailers but not gonna happen. I saw .moe last year during the day and they rocked so it'll all work out.

Plus this is peak heat time. I would have much more preferred UM at the Mushroom stage (in the shade)!

I have no doubt it will still rock and don't care that its gonna be then. I wasnt expecting the music to start at 12 on friday, I imagined them waiting till 4 so people coming from work would see the better friday shows, it looks like if you arent there by 4 setting up your camp you can potentially miss UM, Little Feat and Buddy Guy. I'm stocked for the late night sets, first time seeing DTB at the mushroom stage sounds like heaven.

On the jamcruise forum board, we posted our thoughts about the schedule times, and they actually made changes we recommended! Now THAT's a cool festival! Then again, the artists are all stuck on the boat and don't have other tours to worry about, so time of day doesn't really affect them too much.
