Re: Who/What IS the Spirit of Suwanee? In the winter, when it's really cold, a ghostlike steam rises off the river surface. It is quite a sight at first light in the morning.
To me...THAT is the Spirit of the Suwannee.

No one will ever play with me!! well maybe if i get drunk enough we did this hocus pocus stuff back when i first got buzzed ..we actually levitated a chick off of two regular chairs into the air by our thumbs..  I never played that again...blew me away...kinda like the voodoo doll that stuff is real as shit...Heather and I were going to buy them in NOlA but the lady scard the hell out of us as we scurried quickly from her little shop of Horrors. . no joke not fun
