Grateful Dead- feckin awesome. Possible one of (if not the) best band of all time, IMO. Everything they did (except for a few studio albums) was sheer brilliance. Great jamming skills, they worked off eachother so well.

Phish - also a great example. Though nothing like the Dead, they could definately jam

Allman Brothers - another great jam band. Awesome guitarists with an nice southern touch

And, thought not technically a jam artist, Frank Zappa and his band were amazing improvisors/jammers

STS9! Wouldnt it be sick if they somehow made it to Bear Creek. They hardly show Florida love. Anything jamtronic, Pnuma gets me amped as does UM! Firday 420 Umphreys! Wanna lose my face for that show.
