Camping Question / NOT WANEE RELATED!
OK! So, This is not a wanee related question, however!!! I feel its the best place to ask the question, because ya'll are PROFESSIONALS After Wanee, Im planning a camping trip in Upstate NY, cause well...I just cant get enough and that wanee vibe will still be flowing So! The reason for this post, is because Id like to ask, anybody from the NE region. Maybe NY, NJ or PA can you recomend a campgrounds (preferably on a mountain) that allows Fires and Alcohol Consumption.... If possible, id like to avoid a place that has "Quiet Time" because its a family oriented park. If anybody can help, that would be SUPER FANTASTIC!!!!! Thanks

The lake and the bird sanctuary are both cool. Hell, it's cool all over the place. Hey if you want to camp up north go to remote Appalachian Trail areas, they make great primitive campsites.See ya

Re: Camping Question / NOT WANEE RELATED!
I'm not sure yet where we are going to set up. Wednesday afternoon is our arrival time so we will have an early start on finding a place. Its been years since I've been to the park. Mag fest 04, I think. A dry place is my main requirement for our camp site, as I remember my tent flooding on my last adventure there I'm sure we'll make our way down to the lake a few time during the weekend, I'll look for the fire and alcohol I hope to see you at the parade or meet/greets.

Re: Camping Question / NOT WANEE RELATED!
I'm up for remote (less bothered by prying eyes) - esp if we are so lucky enough to get a golf cart! It will all fill in thru out the weekend and a good time will be had by all no matter where our camp "happens"..... lets not even think flooding!! we're all in this together!
