 Best route to Live Oak @ night Flyin in to JAX around 11 PM on Thursday...any local Floridians know the best route to LIVE OAK via JAX AIRPORT? I will take me GARMIN... but I would LOVE to get to the BEST WESTERN in time to say HIGH to anyone UP?
(Yes I am doing the BW...)

Re: Best route to Live Oak @ night Yeah bro' I'm a veteran of J'ville: Westside all the way! From the airport you follow the sign that says to I-295 and I-10. As far as back roads you may keep an eye out for state road 90 West. This road goes through several small, Southern towns like Maclenny, Lake city, etc. The road parrallels I-10 so you can always find your way back to the highway. There is a battlefield(Olustee), a few prison facilities, Osceola National forest, etc. Just somethin' to see along the way. Good luck man!

Re: Best route to Live Oak @ night If you are diving at night and unfamiliar with the area 10 west is going to be your best bet. the time you may save in distance, you will lose by slow speed limit. Love the cubs shirt!!! safe travels
