 Re: Clapton chatter
I work for Lexus and got to see EC on that tour. Don't lower Lexus to the ranks of Buick, Rockports, and blueblockers!

So dependable that my dad got rid of most of his Mercedes due to all of the high costs of repairs etc... and now they have a fleet of Lexus..yes very nice vehicles!! A friend of ours just got that new mercedes.. I am not good with all the models but it is sharp and I think it said 5??? It was fast as hell.... I saw it perform the other night (on my drinking adventure) and that baby is sweet...And my vehicle isn't exactly slow but this dude left me in the dust!!! I think my daughter said it costs like $89k ? I do remember it being very sporty and sleek ... & FAST!!!!

 Re: Clapton chatter
Sporty, Sleek and Fast.....I digress. Last time I saw Clapton was in Jville a couple of years back. The best part of the set was when they busted the barstools and acoustic gee-tars out. So sweet and soulful. If he showed up and totally threw down we could have Doyle, Derek, Warren, and Buddy AND Eric on one stage busting out with......drumroll.......While My Guitar Gently Weeps.......for at least 30 minutes. I pray EC shows and I pray this is Collaboration Fest '09

Had very close seats with the Mrs. a few years ago in Tampa, and people were telling us to sit down. Security and EC even noticed and told THEM to leave us alone. It was sponsored by Lexus.
I should have known. I had that same freakin' problem at the Ford Amphitheater in Tampa last summer. What the flip are people doing sitting at a Calpton concert. Clapton was fantastic, crowd did suck

 Re: Clapton chatter
I was there too hardtail!!! I wrote about it earlier on this thread!!! It was geriatric for sure. I was so mad at everybody sitting down...my hubby and I sat on the lawn and broke it down regardless.
