 Re: Clapton chatter
Afraid to begin. The reason I go to Albert Hall as many times as I do is (besides being the greatest venue on the planet) the audience. They sit. They have manners that no US audience does. I go to take IN the show. Trust me, my soul can dance without standing. O.K., that said - bring on the "geriatric" hate mail. Stevie

 Re: Clapton chatter
NO hate geriatric hate mail my new friend Stevie!! I will just dance around you. I just reach a certain point fever pitch to where my feet can't fail me now.... feet can't fail me now and then it travels through the body like electricity... then it is on!!!! Sit if you want...but you better put that chair in the back! see the chair thread for reference. I enjoy it even more when the crowd gets pumped too and I just can't see sitting still and being pumped. Hypnotized yes...but then dance! But that is just my opinion. Wanee! Wanee! Wanee!! Wanee!

Stevie There are times when I would agree, as to my soul dancing. I attend a lot of jazz related shows, Pat Metheny Trio coming to mind... it was the crowd that dictated a seated affair. When he did electric tunes... I had to stand... my feet wanted to move...regardless of the venue. I am 55 and PROUD

 Re: Clapton chatter
thank-you calypsomamma, my new friend too. I actually do dance when the whatever strikes me. BUT, as all my ex's will tell you, for me dancing is normally in between erect and latteral. A little bit scary, so when I do dance I try to make there's no one close enough that I might injure on the way down. Stevie

Yes I seem to carry names, record labels, venues, etc. in my Grey matter, where REAL musicians (my brother for example) often times do not know or care, hell he doesn't even own any recorded MUSIC!
