And let me say it again. When Jimmy Herring comes on stage for the five-minute jam before the 15-minute "Love has Something Else to Say," DAMN! Absolutely astounding! Check out the drums!

And then there is Derek's solo on the last track, 'The Storm." OMG

I know I just can't shut up about SiriusXM 27 Deep Tracks. I finally figured out why. For starts, of course, it is aimed at the AARP crowd. But I realized that these were exactly the songs we were playing at the radio station in college. I spent four years in the radio studios and made it to class just enough to get a diploma.

Last night I heard "Pretty as You Feel" from "Bark" by Jefferson Airplane. That was a song I first heard when I was "experienced," and those who understand know that you will hear that song the same way -- forever!

and then this morning! "California" from "The Turning Point" by John Mayall. That is an album I would recommend to everyone. Many of you know "Room to Move," and it IS fun, but the real meat of the album is in "California," "Thoughts of Roxanne" and "So Hard to Share."

The only time I saw the Dead do that was 04.07.95 at Tampa Stadium. It was incredible! What a great song!

Maestro63 treatz... AWESOME soundboard. On BY-tor, resisting the urge to skip to Xanadu.

EDIT - glad I didnt. The whole show is spectacular. Neil Peart solos the whole show, and allows Geddy and Alex to play along. Neil was on FIRE in '78... defines drummers for this youngster.

Reggaeton! Don't know the band, can't understand the words (not because it's Spanish, but because it sounds like a megaphone in a blender), but it's fun!

Great sound and production. Good way to start a saturday morning. Wish there was more than 2 tracks, but thats the whole point right? keep them wanting more... Being released in April. WANEE! Wonder if it debuts there.

Any Sisters or Brothers that were at the Bluesfest on the 19th recognizing the background?
