Don't spend too much time on the other side
Let the daylight in before you get old and you can't break out of it
My old friend 'cause it's getting winter and if you want any flowers
You gotta get your seeds in to the ground
And I worry about you, why? Because you want me to

I had my radio stuck on SiriusXM channel 27 -- Deep Tracks. And I still love it. But recently I have been listening a lot to Electric Area channel 52 -- deep house / EDM.

also:

23 Grateful Dead
29 Jam On
49 Soul Town
50 The Groove
67 Real Jazz

I sprung for the four-disk box set, and I am really glad I did. Phenomenal material from the very best players at the time.

John Mclaughlin's contributions on these recordings are amazing.

I am considering the new box set of Miles at the Fillmore:

I went to see Brett Dennen in Birmingham last week (such a good show...he's so happy and odd).

Foy Vance opened. I wasn't familiar with him before, but I really, really enjoyed him. He's like the greatest pub singer that you'd see on a dream trip to Ireland. He was playing solo, but was so passionate that he FILLED the stage (and the room). Played guitar & keyboard (and a little drums...but I think that was just for fun). So, needless to say, I've been finding & listening to as much of his music as I can.
