My shuffle just came up with "Ain't Life Grand" WSP. They just change the mood for the better instantly.

Then came Stones "Dandelion" - Don't tell no lies  . Yeah, sad thoughts for Mick.

So MANY superb songs "come" up on YouTube when you click on that one ^^^.

So, just in time for Wanee and Hot Tuna, here is a little ditty you'll recognize both musically and lyrically -- from different sources!

This is a beautiful song from the Stones. It is so vastly superior to, say, "Angie."

I heard a song I had forgotten about today by Bill Withers. It is a wonderful song musically, his vocal is great, and the message is great:

Lovely Day

Dixie Dregs.

10 albums, a King Biscuit recording, and a boot from Lee Furr's Studio May 30, 1978 Tucson, AZ

Should be a good music day at work.

Since I was a child I can remember housecleaning day in our home. Dad always spun the vinyl while we did our chores. So it’s no wonder that even now while I clean house I like to listen to music. Today I flipped the TV on and quickly decided if I put some gameshow or drama rerun on I will end up sitting down and get nothing done. (like now cause I’m on the computer LOL) Well, I quickly scrolled to the music channels instead of putting a disc on to play. I found the most amazing channel. Sonic- 8 Track. So I’ve been listening to some long forgotten tunes. This one had me turn it up…way up!

music can even make housework fun!
Pulled out the vinyl, digging Traffic "Mr. Fantasy", Barefoot Jerry "Can't Get Off With Your Shoes On", Lou Reed "Rock and Roll Animal". sitting on the couch at the correct listening level and watching March Madness and spring training baseball. Life is grand!
