Ana Popovic....Can you see me.....an old Hendrix song you might never have heard.
This girl needs to headline at Wanee....
She has the drummer for BB King and Buddy Guy and other greats playing with her band Mo' Better Blues.

A youtube video of Railroad Earth's ridiculously great performance at the 2011 Horn o' Plenty. If you've never seen it, you should.

This morning I stumbled across this gem:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyz5HKyaSJg

Leon Redbone doing a show in 2001; neat video of a very good performance in front of a small gathering (can't really call it a crowd, it looks more like it's some buddies playing at a weekend, back yard picnic).

Sounds like the time Derek and Susan were playing Tampa a couple days before New Year's Eve. This was The Soul Stew era, at the Tampa Theatre. We are in the balcony, *READY*, and out walks Susan with this impossibly short black spaghetti strap dress and stilettos and slinks up to the mic. And glasses.

DAMN.

Or Bonnie Raitt in 1982 playing Catfish Hodge's Chicken Leg Review at the Wax Museum in DC with Paul Barrere, Cornell Dupree and others. Bonnie came out with a very short, very tight red miniskirt and red go-go boots and kicked everybody of the stage.

DAMN.
