Re: What Day Are You Planning To Arrive At Waneefest? (2012) All the lovely people, as a wanee- and general (1st time us, wanee etc) newbie i actually planed to arrive at thursday. I just read some pages here and now I dont know, whether this is still the right idea, might get too late, hm? The week before i am travelling in the south and theoretically could be there on wednesday.. but is it worth it? Aftert sneaking in the forum, the happy hour party at 5, wednesday gets kinda attractive to me  and will there be enough (good) places for my tent? Best wishes and all my love from germany!

There will be PLENTY of places for your tent on Wednesday. Also, that's the day where you basically get comfortable before the Thursday Madness sets in, meaning: Thursday is when the park fills up, it's amazing to go to bed and wake up to thousands of new Tents around you! Welcome and also Wednesday is going to be some really good live music and an afterparty you won't want to miss.

Welcome to the family! If you have the time, get to Wanee as soon as you can. Waneetopia will begin construction on Sunday. I guarantee you will be among friends. The park charges $20 a night per person prior to the start of the show and its worth every penny! See ya there!

Re: What Day Are You Planning To Arrive At Waneefest? (2012) $20/pp on Wed night; $10/pp for the nights earlier than Wed. Pay the total fee at the gate as you enter the park... I too recommend arriving on Wed if at all possible. That way you're set up before the music starts, and then you can get your bearings, take a tour of the SOSMP, and perhaps head up river drive for a dip in the river. Very highly recommended!
