The wind is low the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence won't you open up your eyes?

Come Together

What he wins is the opportunity to share more "useless" trivia. This is the kind of stuff I CAN remember. Then, I walk out of my room at school to get something from the TPA. By the time I get there, I have NO idea what I went to get!

Damn short-term memory!

Speaking of "Dear Prudence" and the White Album:

I was a senior in 1968 at a boys' prep school. We did not have typing, and I wanted to learn (I made a good bit of money in college typing people's papers). I found a night class -- taught by my 6th-grade public school teacher!

I only missed one class. I had heard on the radio that a group from the Christian Anti-Communist League (seriously, that was the name) were holding a public forum at a hotel explaining how the White Album was a Communist Manifesto.

The moment they started on "Back in the USSR," I understood that they had absolutely no concept of parody. They took the song's message literally. Everything went downhill from there.

We had all had an object lesson in how F'd up the world was that summer with the Democratic National Convention on TV, whether it was the violence outside or the white Georgia group not wanting to seat Julian Bond inside. This just furthered my education of how stupid many people actually where. Almost everybody at that hotel meeting swallowed their malarkey hook, line and sinker. I couldn't erase the smirk from my face.

Whose faces appear on the cover of the Rolling Stones' LP "Their Satanic Majesties Request" (other than the Stones')?

You're up, Nomad! Swing away!

(I have never viewed a cover of that album without the 3D trippy thingie, so I don't know if the Fab Four faces are obvious or not. You really have to look for them on the 3D thingie.)

Speaking of the Stones;
What female artist and song did Mick sing backup vocals on and not get credit?
Bonus points;
Who was the song about?
Bonus question;
Mark Knopler, Kris Kristoferson and TYS never collaborated (as far as I know). What common thread do they share?

"You're So Vain"
Warren Beatty

The last one must have to do with verbosity!
