This DOES define trivial..

I cant believe my OCD's led me here..

Quote:
Barbra Streisand

A critics’ darling, Barbra Streisand’s EGOT status is hotly debated. She holds several Grammys, including one for 1963 Album of the Year, an Oscar for her performance in “Funny Girl” and four Emmys for “Barbra Streisand: The Concert.” Although she won a Tony in 1970, sticklers contend that it’s an honorary Tony that doesn’t count for EGOT status. Perhaps Barbra will return to the stage to earn a competitive Tony, but she may be content with her honorary EGOT status.

The women who have won all four "regular" awards (not "special" awards):

Helen Hayes
Rita Moreno
Audrey Hepburn
Whoopi Goldberg

The men:

Richard Rodgers

Marvin Hamlisch
Jonathan Tunick
Mel Brooks
Mike Nichols

And these three have three regular awards and one specail award such as lifetime achievement:

Barbra Stresiand

True! And not what I expected. Looking at the list, however, it makes sense given those involved with musicals that hit stage and screen and soundtracks.

Here is the question I started to post but forgot to submit.

Richie Blackmore has been associated, primarily, with three vocalists, either in his own band or his former band.

Name the singers. For extra credit (a chocolate beer?), name the other groups or projects those singers are famous for.

Ian Gillian - Deep Purple, went on to Black Sabbath for a time.

Ronnie James Dio (best rock voice ever) - Rainbow / Black Sabbath

I can't think of a third one that was significant. I know he married the singer of his current band, think her name is Candy or something.
There were other singers in Rainbow as well but???? Sorry

Damn I just cheated and can't believe I missed the third one. Thought Richie was outta the band by the time he came on board.
