What Frank Zappa single did Dweezil cover as a tribute to his old man?

(too easy for TYS)

BUMP!

It was "My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama." I always remember a DJ on WSAN in Allentown trying to be all cool (well, he DID play the song) as he mispronounced the title "My Guitar Wants to Kill You, Mama!" when he played the original in 1972 from the LP "Weasels Ripped My Flesh."

I don't remember using this question before. Maybe YOU won't remember IF I did!

Name the singer/guitarist/songwriter who heard Rick Springfield's "Jessie' Girl" and said, "I CAN DO THAT!" He got himself a fuzzbox and made a series of hit songs.

Sorry. This was a dumb question. The answer is Ray Parker, Jr. he had been performing with Raydio and pumping out those sappy hits ("A Woman Needs Love") when he heard Springfield's song. He ran out, bought a fuzzbox, and grew a pair, getting much funkier with:

New less stupid question:

At the 1985 Live Aid concert (the Philadelphia version), Led Zeppelin performed with two drummers. One was Tony Thompson.

Name the other drummer.

(HINT: he introduced the band.)
