Name this musican:

I sometimes played with Boz Scaggs, Steve Miller, and one other band you might know. I was born in Rhode Island and grew up in Florida. Who am I? Also, name two songs I played on that are staples to some folks today.

Great question! I was thinking of Ben Sidran at first, but i came around to the right answer. We used to sell quite a few of his albums at the record store in the 70s.

C'mon! Somebody answer this one!

TYS, its Tuesday of Wanee. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're playing Trivia pretty much by yourself.

Guess: Tom Petty.

Nope. Not Tom Petty. Here's a hint - he also had a relationship with one of Gregg Allman's ex old ladies.

Yep. The two songs he played guitar on with the Allman Brothers Band that most folks know are : Ramblin Man and Jessica.

Here's one of his solo songs that got some air play:

I know it, damn it. I've gotta do something to keep from exploding until I leave Thursday morning. I will say that I spent a wonderful evening at my daughter's house with my son's wife and my granddaughter and Baby Sam, now fully 2.5 days old! I will visit again tomorrow and take my granddaughter, DIL, wife and dog to a local park. So life is good!

Last Question before Wanee 2014 gets started.

At Live Aid Concert When Bob Dylan broke a guitar string, Ronnie Wood took off his own guitar and gave it to Dylan. Wood was left standing on stage guitarless. After shrugging to the audience, he played air guitar.
Who did Ronnie mimic? (What guitarist did he mimic?)
