Last Question before Wanee 2014 gets started.

At Live Aid Concert When Bob Dylan broke a guitar string, Ronnie Wood took off his own guitar and gave it to Dylan. Wood was left standing on stage guitarless. After shrugging to the audience, he played air guitar.
Who did Ronnie mimic? (What guitarist did he mimic?)

Rats. Now I cannot ask any more questions!

I'm posing another question, because I don't know if wholigan is checking right now.

And I have asked this before, but it's still fun and relevant for this year.

During the Dumpstazeppelin set, they did a tune from "Houses of the Holy" titled "D'YER MAKER."

How is this pronounced? Why?

Stick with wholigan's question. Here is the answer to mine:

JAMAICA

If one proper British gent asked another how he fared with a certain lady, he might ask:

"I say, old chap, DID YOU MAKE HER?"

But if a Cockney bloke asked another bloke the same question, he would elide a lot of letters.

It might start like this: "DIDJA MAKE 'ER?" "D'YER MAKER?"

Eventually, it would just be: "JA MAKE 'ER?"

Which would be pronounced "JAMAICA."

And the Zep song is a reggae tune. There you have it.

You may now laugh when you hear the DJ say,

"And now, Zeppelin doing DIE ER MAKE ER."

New question.

In the movie "Paul," written by and starring Simon Pegg & Nick Frost of "Shaun of the Dead" fame, they are two British comic-book geeks traveling across the U.S. when they encounter an alien outside Area 51.

Late in the movie, they all stop at a country bar for a pit stop. There is a country band on stage playing.

What song is the band playing?

No brainer! Even in High School, I always had a giggle when people said Dier Maker... Funny stuff.
