Begin and end with Graeme Edge's poem "Late Lament". I admit I had to research this one. But I was anxious to get another post so that I could start a thread...

Now that is too cool, because I have a different answer, but yours is better!

At the end of the last track, there is a gong that sounds and fades out. It is the same gong that fades in at the beginning of track 1.

"Axe a question, there, Bra'." As my students would say.

What was Clive Davis' assessment of the Mothers of Invention in 1966? (and not altogether inaccurate at the time)

I quit. Clive turned down the opportunity to sign them because they had "NO COMMERCIAL POTENTIAL."

Or, as it says in Latin title of part two of "The Return of the Son of Monster Magnet" on "Freak Out:" NULLIS PRETII

OK. I lied. I'll try one more (famous last words).

On the dollar bill cover of Funkadelic's 1972 masterpiece "America Eats Its Young," one of the Latin phrases is:

QUOD EST

What does this mean, and how would it be said?
