first year to Wanee, but felt that way all of 09 Waka..first year on the mtn, 82 degree days and one band after another that I loved. Also 06 Waka because of the music and the large crew we had rolling that year...19 or so of us in camp. Looking forward to making it down in our new camper. Just sold our VW euro van of 10 years, so it will be missed! Can't wait!

Wow to many to list.....TTB closeing out in 2010 playing "I Beleive in Music"...chilling!! Mule and "Soulshine".....burrrrrr.....so many memories!
I do remember going to Kev's camp site with his crew that night after the music....Kevin was.....doing what Kevin does and a nice big fire rageing.....and Kevin says......and I quote " FIRE GOOOUUUDDD!!!!" (must be said like a caveman). It was just one of those things that make my smile!!!! Thanks Kev!!!

I love the feeling I get when I get off of the Live Oak exit on I 10, my heart starts pounding, and it just builds till I pull into the park. By the time I get to the site and get out out of the car and grab my first cold one of the fest, it all calms down.
After 364 days it's finally here, WANEE TIME!!!!!!!

OK...here's a real one...
My first Wanee, about 6 years ago, I was doing the driving up 75. My buddy Doug was shotgun, and he starts chuggin' some Beam about an hour out. I lectured him.
Well....we pull off the exit and I am getting excited for our first Wanee. Proclaiming "SCREW IT!", I told him to hand me a Magic Hat #9. I had never drank one, but heard all about it.
So he pops the thing, realizes it says something in the cap, and reads it...I shizzzz you not, it said,
LOSE CONTROL AND ROCK AND ROLL!

We laughed our arses off. I still have the cap.

Man i can think of about 1000 moments like this!! Last years encore whippin post was pretty damn spectacular!!! so many more!! 2010 first time i seen Panic live, was it 09 in the rain??? either way what ever year it poured on us i had the best time ever... Wanee equals freedom to me, free from the world, free from the bad people, and free from my own mind....

My favorite Wanee moment was last year.

Arriving Saturday and camping on Lower River Rd. Had the place by myself for 3 days and enjoyed the solitude.

I first discovered the BOS/SOS family @ the meet and greet.

All I can say is WOW!

My name is Jay and I'm a Waneeholic and a card carrying member of the BOS/SOS family!

i was in my tent whipped and in pain. my knees and hips ached from long walks to and from the stages to our tent. i had blisters on my feet. and then i heard the opening. as much as i wanted to head over, all i could was smile and fade off to sleep.

Last year - the funniest golf cart ride ever on Monday night. (Those involved know what I am talking about).

2010 - Mule at the Mushroom stage. Best Mule show ever IMO. Wow!

I know it was mentioned already, but it deserves mention again. Luther with Panic, slippin' into darkness at sunset. Pure magical bliss.
