For a first time event the GMF was a a great event. The Lee Boys were as impressive as always even though the crowd was really sparse when the went on. The crowd grew as the day went on (I think alot of folks stumbled over after the Cigar City event).

I ran into the Mayor yesterday while grocery shopping and mentioned how I thought the festival was a good thing for the city. He agreed and said he hoped it became an annual event.

Tropical Heatwave has been & remains Tampa's best music event. Hopefully GMF can match it.

It is happening again this year.
