Pull in with a small camper
So excited to bring my little 10 ft camper to Wanee for the first time! I just got it so I have not reserved a special site. I'm not too concerned about having a full hook-up but I am a rookie at backing this thing up! I think I'll probably be arriving around noon on Thursday (do I need to pay extra if I come Wed. night?). Anyone have any words of wisdom on finding a comfy home where I can pull her thru? So afraid I'm gonna get stuck not able to drive forward. Thanks!

Yeah, if you show up Wed Nite, chances are they are going to get you for 20 bucks a person, .... WELL WORTH IT!

Well there may be place to pull through when you get there but after Friday the place is packed and pulling out might become an issue. My advice is practice. Your gonna end up needing to know how sooner or later. Just remember everything is backwards and try to line up as straight as possible before starting.

Welcome, CristinZ.
You won't have a problem with finding plenty of spots in the open fields to pull through. If you want to get into some nice shady areas to camp, it can get tight.
Still no worries. Plenty of fine BOS/SOS to help you back in, back out or pull you out if the need arises.

I'm coming in solo since my lovey bunny muffin (no, not you Tony) has to work until Thursday. I am pulling in and letting some more experienced BOS/SOS do the dirty work of parking. Trust me, the neighbors will appreciate it if someone gets it where it belongs in 1 shot. That's what friends are for...

As it gets closer, contact me and I will park for you. Backing a trailer is not that hard and will park any that needs help. But you just gotta watch out behind me, as there are blind spots parking a trailer.

Re: Pull in with a small camper
Actually, if you are coming early Wed. there should be plenty of open areas to park a small camper.

I'm driving a (rented) 31' C-class in and will need help from a BoS(or SoS) to back it into my space too! I'm just going to point it west on I-10, pretend like I'm driving a van and head to the park.Getting there on Tues so there wont be tooo many casualties when I roll in.....
