Re: How did you choose your forum name?? My screen name is one I have used for a while on a number of boards, mostly sport oriented. Hence the Gator portion as I went to UF & they are my team.
The P comes from a college nickname. Whenever I am in a new situation, I tend to do a good deal of observation before I come out of my shell, as it were. So friends at college did not thing I was to personable at first and sarcastically I was dubbed Mr. Personality. It wasn't long after that when my true personality came out and the wise ass in me became the norm. So the nickname stuck, but for a different reason. It got shortened to Mr. P one night when a friend had imbibed too much and could not pronounce personality. Since that point, I have been Mr. P, Uncle P, but mostly just P to my friends and a host of friends of friends.
