power inverters are great...just don't kill your car battery or you'll need a jump to leave, lol. I had wondered the same about the cell coverage, just so I can find my friends when we are all arriving or texts. I plan to have it off for the most part & leave that electric leash at camp.

But of course lilgamom! The jumper cables are usually located right next to the power inverters at the truck stop convenience store

Jumping dead batteries is a long and storied tradition at our campsite ... just another part of the experience!

The leash is only on till our people find us for camp set up. After that it's every man (or woman) for themselves!

I always make sure to bring cables. I've jumped at least one person every year since I've started coming to Wanee.

Just like last year as soon as i pull in the phone gets cutt off and locked in car..

I had reception and I am from Canada.

At+t was 1-2 bars...no internet service, which frustrated me at first, but later embraced it, more of a real vacation not getting sucked into browsing the net.
Would have been nice to be able to check the weather though.

Spotty service with Sprint which was only an inconvienence with my Wife and Son meeting me there later in the weekand being newbies to the most "Waneeful Place on Earth".

oh, I kept the leash on since we didn't bring the lil one- had to keep it in case something happened & to talk to my kiddos a few times during the day. I had GREAT reception BTW (verizon). Full bars- no drops. Of course- finding a place quiet enough to hear on the phone was a different story altogether.
