Virgin Waneeer here. Has anyone kayaked or fished or even best kayak fished here before. Looking for tips because I need to decide on bringin yaks & fishin gear or not?

I thought about bringing my Kayak, but I think I'll leave it at home, gotta sleep at some point.

Never been to Swanee before, but I always have a pole, and tackle with me. If I get up early enough or am up late enough I will throw in a line.

We brought our kayaks last year but not our fishing gear. Just enjoyed the peaceful ride. Unfortunately we only did it once so this year we decided not to bring them and rent if we want to go.

Just talked to the Canoe Livery guy. They have several canoe trips of varying distance where they bring you up steam. Or you can rent a canoe or yak for $17 for 4 hours or $26 for all day and launch at the campground. He told me they catch bream, catfish & bass on the river within the campground. Hope to see yall "down by the riverside".

Do they rent fly fishing gear?

I've been dying to bring my Yak ... I'd love to catch a suwanee bass...but I hate to leave it out in the sun all weekend.

Why kind of yak do you have?

would i need a fla freshwater license or would that be the least of their worries?
