I sure did! He was a cute puppy! But I have to agree... There should not be animals in the park. Think of it this way, there were a LOT of bare feet out there. I sure would not want to find dog doo between my toes!

 Re: Pets at Wanee?
There are a lot worse things to step in besides dog doo, but I agree that there shouldn't be any pets. Not all pets behave as well as their owners and not all owners are as well behaved as their pets.

 Re: Pets at Wanee?
yeah, I noticed. Noticed a lot of stressed out dogs. We ran into this guy with a dog that he adopted 2 days before- poor thing looked terrified. I did see a few actual service dogs though.

Although neither is preferable, I'll take dog poop over a lit cigarette butt any day.
Why do smokers assume the world is their ashtray? Never mind; that's another battle altogether.

I'm not so much a dog person anyway, so I was happy with the "no pooch policy". I saw 2 pit bulls (or pit bull mixes) with Wookie owners (who weren't too attentive) the first night at Furthur. I decided it was time to move on to new ground.

 Re: Pets at Wanee?
I saw a couple of Wookies walking around a lil puppy on Sunday morning, the next trip around he was playing an accordian. I figured he must have traded the dog for the instrument.

If they walked by you with no pup you could just avoid contact and that would be it, but the pup is an ice breaker to start a conversation and make a new friend (or as they see it new prey).

That explains the youngster with the pup that wandered into Waneetopia and decided to have a seat near us...
