I couldn't agree w/ ya more! If Bear Creek was no more, there would be a void in my life that no other fest could fill... I don't ever wanna think about that being a possibility though.

Come check out our Short-Cut trail at BC this year. Last BC, we did our first Short-Cut trail and it was underwater themed. You can see the Youtube video by clicking---> HERE. We did another at Wanee and Purple Hatters Ball Day and Night
This is to be the best on yet, I plan on filling in some of the openness and adding more visual stimulation along the trail. More lights!!!
I invite you all to come check out what we are going to create. We are just down the road from Funk N Jam, we are "Short-Cut Camp". Well the "exit" for the trail is just down the road, we actually camp off the road that goes behind the amphitheater and to the general store area. This is the "start" of the trail. I use those lights in the trees to tell people how to get there. Although you can go in either direction, in its design, you "start" and "exit" here.
In other words when you leave the Amphitheater gate, stay to the left and then stay to the left, if the bath house is on your left, then you missed a turn. Stay to the left and the bath house and swing set should be on your right, we are just down the road from that, and then on the left you will see the end of the Short-Cut Trail.
I plan on arriving to SOSMP on Tuesday. If anybody is getting there earlier and knows this area, help with securing the land would be great. I have talked to most everyone around the area and all agree to save me room and I am getting there on Tuesday, so land grab should not be an issue, but still I want to create something special and this certain area is needed.
Also, if you are there and want to help. We could always use that! We have a lot of decorations and lights and could use any assistance offered. We have a lot of lazers and lights, but could always use more.

We encourage you to add to the trail. We only ask, that nothing is for sale. We do not allow anyone to advertise or sell anything along the trail. The trail is a gift to the Bear Creek community. It serves a purpose of making a "short-cut" through the woods, from the road that goes behind the amphitheater and behind the general store/barn stage/bar, from that road, it goes to Hippie road. Then we decorate it and make it unique!
If you want to be creative and help create it or have something to add to it, we would love for that!
although I am designing this, I would like for the community to help create it, I want people to be a part of it. I want you to help, because that is less work I have to do, but, honestly I want others to have a part in its creation. Then we all have a part in this! We will be using yarn to help make barriers/walls, and will need help stringing that. We have a lot of decorations that need to be hanged. Like I said, I will be there on Tuesday and will be working on this all day Wednesday. Maybe some final touches on Thursday.
If you want to help, Please feel free to stop by. If you have not found your creative bone and any form of manual labor at a festival is out the question, but still want to help, we can always use more visual stimulation and LED lights are great for that. (check out the links above)
