Yes indeed, music all day Sunday. The stage schedule usually lists music ending about 7pm, and in the past this has meant the music at the amphitheater actually ended anywhere between 8pm and 10pm. It's generally an all-in, anybody who wants to do a tune who is still hanging backstage will do one or two, with Donna da Buff backing em up.

Then after that, there's picking [usually with some of those same folks that were on stage] around the campfires, with the primary spot being where Dunedin Brewery sets up, along the fence line in front of the treehouse. On Rees Lake, SlopryLand has good picking well into the wee hours. Sunday picking depends on weather; if it's real nice, there will be lots of pickers all over, and attendant fun ensues ... Sunday picking is, IMO, one of the best reasons to stay through till Monday!

So yeah, I'll be at Magnolia Fest, with my usual gang, camped on the lake. An all-fest all-the-time mindset, is what I have

I was planning on going to MAGFest, however I'm thinking of a different one that happens in Washington DC in January, not Florida in October.

Maybe you guys can convince me to go to both?

Sorry...can't think of anything that happens in Wash DC that is better than being in Live Oak, feet propped up, drinking a beer, sitting by a campsite with friends, and listening to some grate music. Cool nights and cooler music.

For whatever reason, I have resisted MagFest to date. But I think I need to give it a shot. Great line-up, heavenly park, the best peeps! What more could you ask for? (OK, I could select all the artists, but that's NOT going to happen, so...)

I think Linda is done with festivals. She loves music, and we go to lots of concerts, but she's not in a festie-type mindset any more. But I will be there!
