 Steve Kimock @ the Ritz, Tampa 05/25 Due, I would suspect, to poor ticket sales, the Steve Kimock show Friday night 05/25 will be in the small side room rather than the main theatre at the Ritz in Ybor City (Tampa). While it is sad that sales are down, it means great intimacy for the show tomorrow with Kimock, Dr. Bernie Worrell, Andy Hess and Wally Ingram. Just got my tickets this afternoon! WOO HOO!

Re: Steve Kimock @ the Ritz, Tampa 05/25 I was one of the few at this show. And to think I was concerned I waited til day of show to get tix! I had seen Steve before at Skippers. I hope next time he returns to that venue. $3 sierra's beat the hell out of $10 stella's!

Two problems: the people at the door were dicks (and dickettes). They made my wife take her purse back to the car because it was "too big." Although they couldn't define what "too big" meant. and she has taken that purse to the Ritz seven or eight times!
The 8 PM show started at 9:22. Not much fun waiting.

I was right right up front. Chatted w/ Steve between songs. Talked with him about his guitars. Saw my good 'Rail Buddy' Rick at the show. Steve opened w/ Coles Law which is my favorite Kimock song.
Got Steve's set list and had him sign it.
as I said Great Show.
