Post Ticketmaster experiments with paperless tickets
If this works, it should help cut down on tickets being sold out in 5 minutes.

Buy your tickets online or by phone using a credit card.

Bring that credit card and a valid government-issued ID to the venue.

Go directly to the venue entrance, present your government-issued ID and credit card, and enter after your credit card is swiped and your seat locator slip is printed - it's that easy!

It is but that isn't the point. There is additional information there that ticketmaster is enforcing which will help the joe's like us have access to tickets in a reasonable time and price instead of the brokers/scalpers getting them all. Miley is just the experiment tour. Pros and cons exist and it will be interesting to see what direction ticket sales take after this.

I think that could be huge if it works out. It sucks hard that regular folks have to pay out the ass to get halfway decent tickets to any show. f!*k those scumbag ticket brokers
