They also played Bonnaroo this year. I forgot about those guys! They were a lotta fun! Hey, maybe Applebutter Express for the traveling stage?!

They just seem to get better and better. Cope on the Mushroom stage, Thursday night! I asked Juan about playing Wanee next year and he said they were and were still gonna play the Wednesday night kickoff party. If I understood him correctly, he said they would rather have that slot with no other conflicting bands than to be on the mushroom on another day and have another band playing on the peach at the same time.

True, the Wednesday night spot is great for them. I just wish they would move the Wednesday night kickoff party to the Amphitheater. I would love to see COPE on the Mushroom Stage. With the increased number of early arrivers this year (I couldn't believe the crowd on Weds) I think it would make sense to move it.

Agreed! Start the music on Tuesday! BTW, somehow I think that Live Nation has exclusive access to the Peach & Mushroom Stage. Is SOSMP arranging the pre-festy entertainment? This may explain the use of the Engine Barn stage.

 Re: Wanee 2013 Possibilities/rumors/hopes...
There was some chatter of The Black Crowes running around the country next summer. I saw them in the late 90s and was not impressed At. All. But, a lot of other people have gone to their shows and had a totally different experience.
They don't really fit, but I am really loving Wilco these days. I saw them twice this summer and it wasn't nearly enough. I would love to see them at the park. Or maybe just Jeff Tweedy doing some solo stuff and some wilco stuff alone. That would work for me. He would be good on the Mushroom Stage IMO
