 Re: Top 10 Camping Festy
Did they list them in order of the top ten? We all know that the SOSMP is #1, but curious if it won top spot. I'm excited to be back there next weekend!!!!!

 Re: Top 10 Camping Festy
I haven't been to a ton of festivals, but I've been to a few MD SoS is by far the best camping venue. I honestly can't imagine a better camping setup, although I hear Electric Forrest (formerly Rothbury) is pretty ridiculous as well.

 Re: Top 10 Camping Festy
I went to Rothbury in 09, and the grounds were truly amazing, but the camping was in a field--nothing compared to Wanee. The 'Sherwood Forrest' was totally killer with all the scenic and lights--truly amazing, but no Wanee!! Plus, it is now all mostly just electronica bands--not want I would pay to go see... I love the venue 'Nelson Ledges' in Ohio--very beautiful, but very small. That is 2nd on my list of favorite places

 Re: Top 10 Camping Festy
I thought you camped in the Sherwood Forrest area. Camping in a field, never mind. Although I disagree with you on the lineup, 3 nights of cheese and lots of jamtronica acts sounds amazing to me!
I am originally from western PA, so I know of the Ledges. I've never been, although I've heard good things.
