Ok, I started a thread for the Peach Festival and even though we haven't been to Peach yet, it's time to start talking DSO Jubilee!

I just read that Mickey Hart is doing a late night set! I am SOOOOOOO FREEEEEAAAAAAKKKKKKKIIN EXCIIIIIIIIITTTED!

I'm very excited as well, I think I am going, not sure who I'm going with, but I have to go, just to see you get excited about Mickey!

12 days and counting! Anybody ever been to Legend Valley which used to be called Buckeye Lake Music Center?

I wonder if I can stay up late enough to catch the late night Mickey Hart set?

I went to Legend Valley a time or two back in the day, saw a monsters of rock type thing in the late 70s [Pure Prairie League, Cars, Molly Hatchet, and ???], and a Grateful Dead show mid-80s, there had to have been 100k of freaks for that one. There was a repeater tower like a quarter mile back from the stage. Woah!

Have not been since then. Hope they got some creature comforts now; I recall there being darn near zero of that sort of thing back in the day... I'm older now, and have certain needs, donchaknow

Be sure to check out Cornmeal. They do electrified bluegrass and beyond, and are extremely high energy. And Great American Taxi too. Both are kick butt bands. Oh and the Stringdusters. Geez whatta great lineup! Wish I could be there...

BYOB into the Jubilee - Schedule Just Announced!

Imagine you were at a Grateful Dead Show or any other concert for that matter, and you could BYOB, liquor, cooler, food, tent and camping supplies into the concert with you and set up right in front of the stage. Well, we are not sure that this has registered with you yet, but this is precisely what you can do at the Dark Star Jubilee. You may park your car right outside the concert venue entrance, carry your stuff a few hundred yards and set up your tent in the concert field right in front of the stage.
