So....since it's a ways off and we're feeling rich, Jason & I are toying with the idea of renting an RV.

For those who have done it before (or just know), what's a good company/website to check out? Preferably one that can be delivered (because, in this fantasy, we're rich AND lazy). Give me the deets, point me in the right direction!

(and in reality, we'll show with our tent and a lot of tarps.....)

We used CruiseAmerica last year and had a very positive experience overall. The vehicle was very easy to drive and had a lot of storage for all the things we needed. We had an issue with the water heater on the 2nd day and they found a service company that came out to SOS and fixed us up. We had to pay by check since the guy couldn't take a credit card and CruiseAmerica refunded us when we returned the camper. So we're going to use them again this year.

We've used CruiseAmerica also with positive results.

we've rented before from CampingWorld. It was about $150 cheaper than the CruiseAmerica quote and the rv we got was awesome. Can't go wrong as I'm sure both companies are good.

I think Sue and I have decided to drive down next year with our camper trailer. I was thinking about renting but we have the time to drive and can stop and visit relatives along the way.

always nice to make a road trip, find some attractions along the way, make some memories!

Hi--We have rented for Wanee 2 years in a row from Cruise America and have had no problems--campers were clean and they had a number of different sizes available-one year we rented a little one just for the 2 of us and the next year the biggest size. One tip is to sign up in advance for their e-mail deals--one year we got half price miles and another we got one night's rental for free-definitely brought the bill down. It was my first time in an RV and it was really nice to have the ac when we took a break and even used the heat one night the first year. Good luck!

We rented a 31 footer for Wanee one year. About $175 a day. No problems.

I just rented the LAST camper that Sunshine RV's had left.....they said they had never sold out this soon for the Wanee Fest! I suggest if anyone is going to get a camper, RV ect......DO IT NOW!
