 Cabins at SOSMP ~
After Bear Creek I can officially say that I am OVER tent sleeping. It probably wouldn't be so bad if I could find and air mattress that works. I have purchased 3 air mattresses in the last year. They are always out of air after day one which is usually the night that I remember the least! Anywho ~ anyone have any experience on cabin rentals at the park? I need one for AURA

 Re: Cabins at SOSMP ~
(hint) Seal up every seam on your air matress with some kind of clear sealent. I had the same problem, We did this while it is blown up on our latest air mat has lasted for 4 years now. Hope this helps

 Re: Cabins at SOSMP ~
(hint also).... Go on Cabela's or any good sporting goods site and look for an oversized heavy duty army cot. They are not super expensive...prob around $75-100, but make sure you get the heavier duty ones. Mine is rated for over 500 pounds and overall it sleeps comfortably....not very comfortably...just comfortably. They are easy to set up and take down. Get the oversized one...it is much better than the regular. (hint 2....I put a blanket between my sleeping bag and the cot...it makes it a lot better.)

 Re: Cabins at SOSMP ~
Thanks guys!!!
I'm hoping we can spring for a cabin at AURA since it will be a small festival.
But I know we will be back in a tent at Wanee. I am looking into getting a cot now.

I've found with air mattresses you get what you pay for. Don't buy cheap.

 Re: Cabins at SOSMP ~
We called the park to put our name on the list for cabins at Bear Creek, but they didn't call us to let us know we were able to actually book one until a few weeks before the fest. At that point, we had already put a down payment on an RV (which were also almost all sold out by the time the park called us.) So it seemed you almost were forced to wait until the last to book it. It would be totally worth it though.
