I posted this in the drunk thread (of all places!), I have ruptured a disc in my back and have been on some very heavy meds......can't drink with those things. I see a surgeon on Wednesday.....hoping I don't need surgery. Just asking for some healing vibes sent my way. and just for the record.....I was not drunk at the time!

Terry, I know what your you are going through. I have a degenerative disc in my L-5 (Why I like Chairs at festies LOL) I can only stand for a short period of time. I have been going to pain management (3rd time) but it doesn't seen to help. Surgery is my next option but it will put me out of work for a while and I just can't afford it right now. Hav insurance but still need income. So that being said I wish you luck (get a 2nd opinion) and my healing vibes will be sent you your way

Sorry to hear viper. Will pray for you brother. And gator vibes are pretty strong! Lol. Need to get your ass to wanee, so do what you need to do. I'll even roll you around if I have to... Of course we will have to roll with some safety supplies, but that's par.

I've got a heavy duty hand cart we can strap him to, we could even decorate him.

Many of my friends are increasingly bionic, with replaced joints and such. It's a fact of getting older, and this modern medical age we live in. But even with all the modern advances, this getting old stuff ain't for wimps!

Do what is best for you, and you will still be able to be rockin' out for a good long time
