Your favorite bands did not have members with gray hair.
When Rodger Daltrey sang "Hope I die before I get old" and you believed he meant it. (He still might but only in the figurative sense).
When you could hear free form rock radio on FM.
You got to a concert hours before hand because the parking lot was almost as fun as the show.
The words Auto & Tune were only spoke in regards to getting your car tuned up snooty mechanic.
MTV played music videos (& some of the music was actually good). Or better yet, they played concerts (which were usually very good).

This morning for breakfast I had quinoa with craisins and soy milk, and I washed it down with some acai juice.
I don't remeber eating any of that s#!T when I was young!

Play the Janis Joplin song “Trouble In Mind” from the 18 Essential Songs album and ask a youngster what the background tapping sound is… Most have never seen a typewriter much less heard the sound of one.

1) making christmas tree "forts" 2) building a tree fort in the woods 3) riding a piece of card board box down the overpass grass embankment 4) staying up until the national anthem was played 5) watching dr. paul bearer and shock armstrong 6) attending tv tapings of professional wrazzlin. 7) spending a buck at the cut out bin and getting three 45s. 8) fishing in a pond that you found while playing in the woods 9) piling into a van to go to the drive in movies 10) eating candy dots at the little league game
