Re: Remember When But the life lessons we offer to the youth are wisdom, patience, spontaneity, perseverence (no matter how much trouble you knew you were gonna get, you still found a way to sneak out if nothing else to go meet your friends and talk to wee hours of the morning), respect and fear of your parents...all of my family had three names, my mom called our first names when it was time to come home, she called all three names to warn us that we had so many seconds to make it to the front yard...we could be blocks away and still hear her voice.....the things that are bad now were not ever a thought then....and the fireflies....so many of them, and playing freeze tag after dark in the back yard.....riding our bikes behind the mosquito trucks.....sledding on cardboard behind a volkswagon, tree forts........i don't think any of my grandchildren will ever have those opportunities...maybe the fireflies, but they have to be so careful

Re: Remember When How many here used to run or ride their bikes behind the Mosquito Fogger trucks?? Amazing my lungs are in good shape. Putting 4 or 5 people in a trunk to sneak into a Drive-In Movie. Lots of great memories being shared.
