 Re: Remember When
When you and your friends got pulled over by a local LEO, and the driver was determined to be too drunk to drive, so the officer would poll the rest of you to determine who should be the new driver!
I actually had this happen to us after a night of drinking when we let our blind friend drive. Yes blind. Really. And drunk! The cop was flabbergasted and probably couldn't wait to get back to the station and tell the others about it!

 Re: Remember When
I love this thread. Makes me think of....
Kick the can in our neighborhood. Having a fort, a bicycle gang and a theme song. "We were the superdooperloopers". Putting baseball cards in my bike so it sounded like a motorcycle. Growing up a Tom boy and asking for a dirt pit for Christmas and getting it. With all the real metal tonka trucks. Being my dads remote control and sitting so close to the tv to either change the dial to the four options or fix the rabbit ears. Standing in line two days ahead for dead tickets at my local sears because they had a single ticket register. Having someone tell me I had an amazing live dead cassette collection (still have them all). Getting my first car cell phone that was a bag the size and weight of a brick.
Ahhhhh so many more to make me smile, smile, smile.

One time when we had lousy weather we parked all our vehicles along the curb and tied tarps between the building and cars over the sidewalk. The next morning a potato chip truck stopped and the driver threw out three cases of chips! Fun times!
