 Re: Remember When
I've been spending too much time watching the MeTV channel. We were attempting to watch "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" (the TV show, not the movie). Those who watched will never forget that there was always some episode that caused everyone aboard to lurch left, then right, then left again.
It was SO cheesy! The best part the other night: a shot of the sub Seaview. Some of you might remember the snow-globe type things filled with water. I had one with a little submarine attached to the bottom with a string. In this TV shot, the sub had a string! We rewound on the DVR to be sure. Yes! A string!
That's right up there with the waterfall in "Anaconda" flowing UP (at the end of the movie).

 Re: Remember When
I loved all those horse shows.
When namath guaranteed a victory, I was a senior in high school near Baltimore. It was never a question of WHETHER the colts would win, only by HOW MUCH.
Quietest sports party I ever had.
Followed by me shooting my mouth off at college (Lehigh) the next fall about the Orioles stomping the Amazin' Mets (it was after the Os won their only game of the series on Sunday). I tried to sneak out of the dorm TV room during the top of the ninth game 5. My New York "buddies" "suggested" that I sit down and watch the end of the game. Ouch!
